LGBTQ Basics

The Village Project invites you to a community training titled “LGBTQ Basics” on Monday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is $25/person. Lunch is included.

This training covers essential core competencies required to create an affirming environment for LGBTQ+ people including:

-Understanding Implicit Bias
-First Impressions of LGBTQ+ People
-Core Vocabulary
-The LGBTQ+ Umbrella
-Genderbread Person
-Language in the Health Care Setting
